Childhood:

Jaggi Vasudev was born on September 3, 1957, to a Telugu-speaking family in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He was the youngest of four children, two of whom were boys and two of whom were girls.

 His father worked for the 'Indian Railways,' so he moved frequently as a result of his father's work. As a result of his family's frequent relocation, he occasionally fell in love with travel, adventures, and a desire to learn more.

Personal History:

Sadguru aka Jaggi Vasudev married Vijaya Kumari in 1984 and had a daughter named Radhe. Kumari passed away on December 23, 1997. Kumari's father alleged Vasudev murdered her, but Vasudev claimed Kumari told him 9 months before her death that she was going to achieve mahasamadhi. Radhe, their daughter, is a Bharatanatyam dancer who married Sandeep Narayan, a classical vocalist at Sadguru's ashram in Coimbatore.

1.     His foundation (Isha Foundation) has infiltrated the forest land.

Sadhguru claims as an active and vocal idealist who has worked tirelessly to protect the environment. According to Newslaundry, the Isha Foundation has illegally imposed on forest land and even elephant corridors. Newslaundry had gathered several testimonies and combed through court records.

 

2.     Promoted pseudoscience.

Jaggi Vasudev has been accused of promoting pseudoscience and even trying to lie about science. He has falsely claimed and promoted that prepared food reduces the human body's 'pranic energies' during a lunar eclipse.
